Home Hot Yoga Studio – Franklin, MA

Over the years, we have been fortunate enough to have worked with many commercial hot yoga studios from Sweden to Hawaii, and all over the U.S. More recently, we’ve started to extend our experience and knowledge to people wanting to build their own hot yoga studio at home.

We received these photos and the following testimonial from Janene, a customer in Franklin, MA. Janene sent us some plans on the room she wanted to use as her home studio and we worked with her to find the best solution for her space. In order to heat this room to 105 F, we need to specify (2) 2’x6′ 1,000 watt Ducoterra Sola-Ray panels on the ceiling and two 1,000 REH Cove Heaters above the mirror and the door.

“I love the way the heat feels – very comfortable and nothing blowing in my face and I haven’t noticed a big hit to the energy bill, which is nice. We are getting a lot of use out of our yoga studio. I take classes on my own 3-4 times a week and I have an instructor coming in once a week to teach a semi-private lesson to me and four friends.”

    1. Glad to hear you are enjoying the Cove heater! I’m not sure what flooring was used here, but I do know that it is common to use laminate flooring that clicks together. Also, one resource in particular,Zebra , has some nifty solutions.
